Fixed camera / Drone / Carried sensor

Read the instrument.
Check what the sensor can see.

A compact calibrated needle reader, gas-modality review and frame-to-asset checks. Images and sensor declarations stay separate from verified physical truth.

A meter image is not a gas measurement. Ordinary RGB and generic thermal images cannot establish methane concentration or leak absence. Gas-sensitive optical imaging and calibrated point/laser measurements have different detection, localization and quantification assumptions. A declaration check cannot establish sensor correctness.

    Compact image model

The needle reader uses calibrated radial pixel scoring. It returns a value only when geometry, time and image evidence meet the entered contract. Pixel scores are heuristic, not probabilities.

Authored-image tests are separate from accuracy on physical meters, glare, fouling, movement and varied camera optics.

    Digital OCR and gas-specific models

Execution and source evidence are published with the offline kit. Pretrained inference on authored text is separate from field meter accuracy.
